Our Mission
EMPOWHIM
In 2024, we introduced a new program called EmpowHIM. EmpowHIM is one of EmpowHER's signature programs that is dedicated to empowering young and adult men through a comprehensive system of support and inspiration. Our mission is to provide education, mentoring programs, and grooming programs to help men in the community reach their full potential. EmpowHIM aims to foster personal growth, enhance self-confidence, and promote positive masculinity by addressing men's unique challenges and needs. We create a support system and provide inspiration to empower young and adult men in the community. to help men in the community reach their full potential.
Our Programs
EmpowHIM offers the following programs and services to support men in the community:
- Education: We provide workshops, seminars, and training sessions on a range of topics, including personal development, career advancement, interviewing, financial literacy, expungement workshops, and life skills.
- Brother-to-brother mentoring involves pairing mentees with experienced mentors who can provide guidance, support, and inspiration in various aspects of life, including education, career, relationships, and personal growth.
- Wellbeing: Promoting physical (trainer led workouts), mental, and emotional wellbeing through fitness programs and spiritual/inspiration support.
- Grooming: Offering grooming and personal care days to enhance self-confidence, and personal style.
- EmpowHIM Retreat (1-2 day)
