Children’s Aid and Family Services is one of northern New Jersey’s leading nonprofit providers of children's aid services that protect and support vulnerable children, adults, and families. Our agency is dedicated to meeting the ever-evolving social needs of the community by expanding our programs, including foster care support and youth housing programs, to help members of the community live their best lives. We also collaborate with court appointed special advocates to ensure that those we serve receive comprehensive support and resources.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are dedicated community volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children. Our mission is to be a strong voice for the best interests of vulnerable children in need of assistance, particularly those who have been removed from their homes or are under court supervision due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. We connect families with vital community resources and provide essential foster care support, while also championing youth housing programs that help secure safe environments for these children.

The Mission of Roots & Wings is to provide safe housing through youth housing programs, emotional support, life skills, and educational opportunities for youth aging out of foster care. By leveraging community resources and the assistance of court appointed special advocates, we empower these young individuals to rise toward their greatest potential.

The New Jersey Department of Children and Families serves as the state’s first Cabinet-level agency dedicated solely to providing children's aid services, community resources, and essential support for at-risk children and families, including court appointed special advocates and foster care support, along with youth housing programs.
