With over 15 years of hair styling experience, Tyrell opened The Hair Loft by Tyrell Lamar in November 2013. He gets great pleasure from using his creativity to help his clients feel and look their best. His Passion for styling goes beyond the Salon Chair. With his keen eye for detail and fresh approach to styling, Tyrell's ability to simultaneously predict and transcend trends has solidified his presence in the event planning and fashion industry. His beauty mission is to provide faith, love, and hope to end homelessness, domestic violence, poverty, and low self-worth.

Tyrell is also the Director of EmpowHIM, one of EmpowHER's signature programs, which is dedicated to empowering young men through a comprehensive system of support and inspiration.

Bishnu McKnight is a dedicated husband, father, son, and man of valor whose life reflects an unwavering commitment to service—in faith, community, and purpose. Answering the call to ministry at a young age, Bishnu has spent over 18 years preaching the gospel and serving in leadership, grounding his life in faith and devotion.

In 2019, Bishnu embraced a new mission as a Law Enforcement Officer for the city of Paterson, NJ. For the past six years, he has served with distinction, earning numerous awards—including the prestigious Medal of Valor. With a deep love for people, he transitioned into the Community Policing Unit, where his heart for service truly shines. From food drives and teen mentorships to youth summer programs, holiday toy giveaways, and community events, Bishnu continues to be a pillar of hope and leadership.

In addition to his service in ministry and law enforcement, Bishnu is also an entrepreneur and founder of Majesty Photos, a Black-owned photography business committed to capturing life’s most meaningful moments.

Whether behind the pulpit, in the streets of his city, or behind the camera, Bishnu McKnight is driven by purpose—to serve, protect and uplift. 

 Princess Duncanson is a woman whose presence blends strength, warmth, and purpose. Grounded in faith and family, she balances her roles as a devoted wife and mother with her work as an author, licensed realtor, certified professional coach, and partner of The Duncanson Consulting Group.

As a committed board member of EmpowHer, Princess brings a powerful combination of strategic insight and heartfelt leadership. She is dedicated to advancing the organization’s mission of uplifting and equipping women, ensuring they feel supported, empowered, and ready to step into their potential.

Princess leads with intention—listening deeply, communicating with clarity, and inspiring others through both her words and her example. Whether she is coaching, collaborating, or championing community initiatives, she shows up with integrity and a genuine desire to create impact.

Her influence extends beyond her titles. Princess Duncanson is a leader who moves people, reminding us that when compassion and purpose guide our path, true transformation becomes possible.

Tam G. Bryant serves as an Advisory Member with EmpowHER and is a passionate consumer advocate dedicated to educating and protecting the rights of senior citizens. With extensive experience in advocacy, Tam works tirelessly to empower consumers on issues such as financial rights, fair practices, and ethical business practices. She also founded a nonprofit organization to ensure that consumers have access to transparent information, fair treatment, and avenues for redress. Tam’s work focuses on raising awareness about consumer protections and fighting for stronger regulations to safeguard against exploitation and fraud, particularly for seniors, who are among the most vulnerable in our society.  

 Meet Kiwanda Young, a certified credit repair consultant based in Virginia. As a single mother of four beautiful children and a proud grandmother to three, I understand the importance of financial stability and empowerment. I am also a minister of the gospel, and I am passionate about educating others through financial literacy. I love encouraging and uplifting those around me, offering prayers and biblical scriptures to guide them on their journey. My mission is to help others achieve their financial goals while providing support and inspiration. Kiwanda also serves as an admin for the Empowher Sisterhood Group.

Sharon Salvador has over 20 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Administration, Management, and Operations (i.e., Corporations, Foundations, and Charitable Organizations); Develops Strategic Business infrastructure (Holistic Enterprise Plans); provides Business Development Services as Workshop Developer/Facilitator of Client Executive Teams; Program Design, Evaluation, Audit, Fiscal Management and Compliance Services for funds acquisition for both domestic and international clients.
